Best Easy Marinaded Chicken Breasts Camping-Style

This recipe makes super juicy, flavorful chicken breasts. I like to make the marinade the night before a camping trip. The chicken can marinate for hours or a couple of days. I also enjoy foil-wrapped corn on the cob and a little red potato salad (recipes on this website). The potato salad will last up to five days if kept cold in Tupperware.

Equipment

  • 1 Large ziplock bag
  • 1 Metal tongs
  • 1 Lemon Squeezer
  • 1 measuring spoons

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive or avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 lime lime juice
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Thyme, oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar if desired

Instructions

  • Remove the breasts from the ziplock bag and place on the grill, not too close but flames licking. Save some juice to drizzle as it's cooking to keep moist.
  • Turn in 5 to 10 minutes when one side looks done. Chicken needs to reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • *If you are also cooking foil-wrapped corn, it will finish at the same time as the chicken. Serve hot and enjoy!
