A year into lockdown, this Hollywood film editor became as passionate about cutting veggies as cutting films. The meals became the movie, the kitchen became the cutting room, the ingredients became the inspiration, and hopes for a culinary blockbuster, the happy ending.

Raised in a family of foodies, Gilly began cooking at eight years old, with an exacting menu of lamb chops, Brussels sprouts, and baked potatoes prepared for a family of six.

Now, encouraged by friends who said, “You should have a blog.” she’s taken her love of food and photography and said, “What the heck?!”

Her culinary motto is that cooking should be joyful, not stressful.
