Easy and Delicious Sautéed Mushrooms
Mushrooms sautéed with garlic and garnished with fresh parsley. Perfect as a side or an addition to many recipes. Great with a baked potato.
Equipment
- 1 Skillet or large pan
- 1 Sharp knife
- 1 Chopping board
- 1 Small bowl
- 1 Spatula
Ingredients
- 1 pound organic mushrooms-sliced organic mushrooms-sliced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic chopped fine or pressed
- 1/4 tsp Himalayan sea salt
- 1/2 tsp fresh cracked pepper
- 1 pinch Thyme and oregano if desired
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped fine
Instructions
- Clean off the mushrooms with a cloth or paper towel – not water.
- Chop the garlic finely, mix with butter, and set aside.
- Heat a large pan or skillet at medium heat.
- Add the garlic butter mixture for one minute to let the garlic flavor begin to release (do not burn).
- Add the mushrooms to the pan, spread evenly – add spices – leave standing for 3 minutes without turning, then stir. Cook until soft and golden brown. It takes about 7-8 minutes in total.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve with your favorite vegetable sides.
